The University Park Mothers Club is a social, supportive, and educational group for families with young children living in the University Park neighborhood and surrounding area. While activities center on the University Park area (Colorado Blvd to University Blvd and Yale to I-25), mothers from across Denver are welcome to join – and dads are always welcome too.
The Mothers Club provides an excellent opportunity for mothers and their children to make friends, share interests, information and ideas, as well as get involved in their community. All families with children ages and expectant families are welcome. This inspired group has over 80 families, which involves over 100 children and is adding more everyday!
Join the University Park Mothers Club today. It is a wonderful way to meet other parents and children.

The Mom’s Club is sponsoring a program for
teen mothers called Hope House of Colorado

Beginning in 2012, UPMC has decided to provide support to the non-profit Hope House of Colorado. This organization's mission is to empower teenage moms to strive for personal and economic self-sufficiency. They provide education, support and counseling to teen mothers through their mentoring, GED and residential programs. We feel that the best asset of UPMC is our strong sense of community, so our support of Hope House will focus primarily in extending our community to include these young mothers. In addition, we will help provide supplies for their pantry through drives like our "Stuff the Trailer" efforts this past December. We invite you to learn more about Hope House and its programs by visiting their website at www.HopeHouseofColorado.org.

- Hope House Update
Our relationship with Hope House continues to grow! In March, a few of our members visited the Hope House mothers at their group residence and dyed Easter eggs and competed a child's hand and footprint art project. The young moms loved it and our members had a great time as well! Remarkably, none of them wanted to keep their completed art project, but rather wanted to give them to family and friends and requested to make more. These same moms, along with their children, attended the UPMC Easter Egg Hunt as well. We are excited to extend our sense of community to them. Keep an eye out for an announcement for another supply drive of items to send to Hope House, so please save up toiletry items, especially diapers and other baby needs, and look for our drive that will be in conjunction with another UPMC event.
